I watched season 4 last night - the biggest load of crap I ever set eyes on - why oh why do they not bring these two together for another one - heck even a sequel _ I can't ever remember anything to touch it and I have watched a lot !!

I can see how Rust turned into the man he is, being a father myself. From what I understand, he accidentally killed his daughter in his driveway. This gloomy song throws us right into his fatalistic world - a perfect intro to a perfect story.

I watched the first season when it first came out and never really appreciated it. I rewatched this season and not long ago finished the last episode. My god this has to be the best season of anything i have ever seen. The acting, the music, the scenary and locations. All of it is perfect. Rust has to be one of the best characters i have ever seen, such great acting.

Of course Rust doesn't bother with a seatbelt. He wants to die if a freak accident occurs yet realizes death isn't looking for him because he so desperately wants it. Funny how miserable people want to go out but don't have the fortitude for suicide like Rust. Like Voltaire when someone told him the gallons of coffee he'd drink in a day were bad for him he agreed that it must be bad; he'd drank it for decades and was still alive.

LOVE LOVE SEASON ONE, AND THE MUSIC IS AMAZING. I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT.

The urge to become a detective and get obsessed with a messed up case in deep south

season 1 was so good that i refuse to watch the others when found out there is no Rust and Marty

Minha serie preferida! Não vi erros na primeira temporada! É simplesmente perfeito..você consegue sentir cada personagem, ainda mais o rust que é bem representado. 10/10 pra essa série!

Seeing Rust Cohle makes me tremendously sad, and at the same time I just can't stop looking at him. A sense of longing in a sad yet beautiful way.
